Boil This

February 13, 2008 – 9:23 am

Next time you boil an egg, take it put it directly under a tap of cool water after it’s ready to go. The feeling you get in your hand is neither hot nor cold and sort of confuses you like rap music from the South. Try it.

I like eggs. Eggs come from chickens. Chickens are birds. An ostrich is a bird. Is big bird an ostrich or a cannery?

I wonder if big bird tastes like chicken?

  1. One Response to “Boil This”

  2. I bet Big Bird has the taste of spam. Because evidently PBS and Sesame Street are underfunded and poor. Finally after 15 years they received sufficient donations to fund a new opening and closing for the show.

Until a few months ago, for the past 15 years everyday on Sesame Street PBS has aired the same early 90’s Sesame Street kids in early 90’s fashion and in early 90’s video quality. But of course they did fund the main part of the show. THankfully the public donated enough for that.

Ever wondered why Cookie Monster is always so hungry? And why the other Monsters and Monster animal characters never grow during the entire run of the show? Because PBS doesn’t feed them due to lack of donations. Sesame Street is PBS’s malnourished Monster Zoo. Evidently the public doesn’t really care about Monsters, we just put them to work to entertain us under harsh conditions. And there are no Monster labor or protection laws. Nor does the Humane Society cover the Monster animals such as Big Bird or Telly. So I’m betting Big Bird tastes like Good ol’ Government Food Stamped Spam.

Bert and Ernie still have to share a small apartment. Oscar still lives out on the Sesame Street in a garbage can. Telly’s still homeless in the Alley. Elmo’s still at his paper house with his paper furniture and crayon paint. They’re not doing too well at all on Sesame Street. Clearly the public isn’t interested in these Monsters. Maybe it’s time to pull the plug. Today there’s Dora the Explora, The Wiggles, The Backyardigans etc… Put the Monsters out of their misery.
