Elephant in my room

Isn’t it funny, that when you’re searching for a lost item in your room, you ultimately find other lost/interesting items instead of the one you are actually looking for? Today, I was searching for manila colored envelopes which I clearly remember purchasing from office depot but now can’t find anywhere.

I basically tore my room apart searching for these folders. I would have gone crazy, but instead found $1.75 worth of quarters, vicks vapor rub, a packet of unused triple-A batteries, a graphing calculator, and a COOL key chain flashlight that doesn’t run on batteries but instead you have to crank a lever to get the electric current flowing. It’s simply fascinating. I’ve been cranking all day and then drinking mango juice. I don’t know why.

I sometimes wish I could lose and find other valuable items. For instance, I wish I could lose my girlfriend in my room and then somehow discover a baby elephant that I can use to ride to work.

Wait a minute, I don’t have a girlfriend. Where are you Gizmo?

(Gizmo is the name I am going to give my baby elephant once I find him. We are going to be best friends. I will train him to sneeze on Harvin on command. Then I will laugh. Harvin won’t be able to do anything because I’ll will also teach Gizmo to fight. Harvin can’t fight elephants. I’ve seen him try a few times. Not a pretty sight.)
