I’m a Lion baby, hear me roar

Why do cats love to play with yarn? Do they think it’s a mouse tail? Why do dogs like to chase after things and bring it back to you? Do they think they’re indentured servants? I’ve always wondered why animals do certain things. I think it’d be cool to transform and be an animal for a day just to see how it feels and finally understand what goes on in their minds.
Besides the obvious fact of first being any type of bird and experiencing flight for the first time, these are the following animals I’d love to be:
- Snake – I’d be a cobra. I think it’d be interesting to see how it feels to be limbless and get around by slithering my way through vegetation. I think it’d be fun to bite a gerbil. I’ve never eaten one of those before. I’d also do stupid things, like un-hinge my jaw for no reason just to see if I could swallow a watermelon whole. I’d hold contests with my other snake friends.
- Kangaoo – I’d hide stuff in my pouch for sure, like a supersoaker or an extra sock in case I lose one in the Australian outback.
- A Ninja Turtle – I’d be a green, crime fighting machine. Not only would I be fluent in the art of the ninja, but I’d eat pizza all day with my buddies. I also get to talk to a walking rat. Pretty cool job if you ask me.
- George Bush and/or rap sensation Soulja Boy – I’d love to see how it feels like to be on the same reading level as a first grader. Playdough would be fascinating. I could lick glue for a living and nobody would care.
